Hello and welcome to my website, I'm so glad you've found me and hope that something you read here will encourage you to get in touch. I am a holistic massage therapist and Bodyworker based in Totterdown, Bristol. I work with individual clients from my home therapy room but I also provide a mobile service to local businesses. I am a teacher at BCMB (Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork) and I run various workshops to both educate and to give practical tools to take care of your body (specifically counter-balancing day to day postural and stress issues).

Holistic massage is, in its simplest terms, using a whole host of techniques and knowledge to deliver an entirely bespoke massage to each client, each time. A massage which encompasses not just the anatomy and physiology of muscles and joints, but the systems which instruct them. This allows treatment of the person as a whole, which can further aid reducing long-term tension and stress, helping the body back to its natural state of healing after being out of kilter. Each session starts with an in-depth consultation, where you and I work together to ensure you receive the best treatment.

Relax

A 30 minute massage, usually focussing on one choice area as well as soothing any stress.

My anxiety resurfaced chronically earlier this year with lockdown and was a daily struggle. Cat’s bodywork not only treated the aches and pains but also cleared my mind and made daily life with anxiety easier to handle. She’s gentle, intuitive and extremely astute; she explained muscle tightness I didn’t even realise I had and helped to alleviate it over a few sessions. I can’t recommend her enough.

I approached Cat for help when I began getting terrible migraines after a very stressful summer. Cat really took the time to listen to what I was experiencing, which meant a lot to me, as I was having trouble getting my doctor to take me seriously. 
As well as helping to alleviate my stress and tension with regular (amazing!) massages, Cat suggested some acupressure techniques I could do myself that were great for giving me a reprieve from the worst of my symptoms.
